Meet our Speakers

VIC JINDAL

Vic Jindal, President of Jindal Financial Group and CEO of Dentistry Disrupted, has been in practice for over 25 years. His focus is on practice management, tax planning, wealth and risk for dental professionals across Canada. As a dental industry influencer with a large North American and International social media following, he has been interviewed and authored timely commentary for well known professional organizations.

Vic has been an active member of his community having volunteered and chaired serval not for profit organizations including the London Community Foundation, Canadian Club, The London, Club, London Health Sciences Foundation, Orchestra London, Museum London and with his family founded the Jindal Family Foundation which supports educational causes in Canada and globally.

Jindal Financial, Dentistry Disrupted has grown to become the leading dental advisory firm in the country. They continue to partner with thousands of dental professionals to assist in optimizing best strategies for growth using a proactive approach to the business of dentistry in this ever-evolving profession.

Dr. Manisha Jindal

Dr. Manisha Jindal completed her education at the University of Western Ontario, first earning her undergraduate degree in Biology, then her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and finally her Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics). She regularly attends continuing education to stay current on all research and advancements in the dental field, ensuring that her patients get the state-of-the-art care they deserve. She also taught for many years at the University of Western Ontario’s Dental School in the orthodontic and pediatric dental departments.

She is a provider of damon braces, clear braces and Invisalign. Dr. Jindal leads the Spear London Study club where she enjoys teaching general dentists about interdisciplinary treatment with orthodontics. She also created identists of london which is a group of young dentists looking to connect with like-minded individuals to further their professional growth. This group has now amalgamated with Dental Exchange which she also helps to lead and has a similar mandate.

Dr. Jindal has lived in the London, ON area for her entire life and is proud to serve the community where she grew up. She was an active participant in Bust A Move London, a fundraiser for London’s premiere breast health centre. She played the cello for many years, performing at local charity events, and is professionally trained in eastern classical dancing. She is also involved with Engage London, an organization dedicated to developing leadership skills in the non-profit sector to guide young leaders to develop.

Dr. Diego Diaz

Dr. Diego Diaz grew up in North Vancouver, B.C. After completing a BSc. In Nutritional Sciences at UBC, he moved to London, Ontario and finished his D.D.S. at Western in 2013. His passion for learning led him to a year-long General Practice Residency at Vancouver General Hospital where he got invaluable experience in all areas of dentistry. After two years in private practice, Diego decided to move back to London, Ontario to pursue a graduate orthodontic residency at Western which he completed in 2019.

Diego practices orthodontics in Kelowna, B.C. where he is actively involved in the dental community. He has lectured at various study clubs and regional dental association meetings. He is also involved in the Canadian Association of Orthodontists’ Smiles 4 Canada Program where he is the B.C. regional chair.

Dr. Jocelyne Shim

Dr. Jocelyne Shim was born in Korea and raised in Edmonton, AB. Passionate about dentistry from a young age, Dr. Shim first completed her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Alberta and worked for several years as a general dentist before she moved to Toronto to train as an Orthodontic Specialist.

Here, she completed a Master of Science degree, won a highly competitive European research grant, and her work was published in a peer-reviewed orthodontic scientific journal. Now, she is an active member of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and a Fellow in the Royal College of Dentists in Canada.

Dr. Maxwell Abraham

Homegrown in Leamington ON, Dr. Abraham’s passion for his patients, from 7 years old to 77, in his community and at Abraham Orthodontics is unlike any other. Absolving barriers to care with service and a unique experience, Dr. Abraham’s reach extends to every corner in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent ON. A leader amongst his peers in utilizing clear aligners, like Invisalign, and his commitment to public health, Dr. Abraham has everything it takes to make the next generation of families beam with pride as their confidence, self-worth, and joy shine through their new beautiful smiles.

Since 2016, he donated $1 million in free orthodontic exams, growth and development consults, in his Growing Smiles Program. His commitment to procure the best life for children by supporting unique school initiatives, oral health campaigns, and the Abraham Orthodontics Community Youth Room for newcomer and at-risk teens to carve a path to their success have established him as a beacon in his community. He was recently elected to the Ontario Association of Orthodontics and Erie Shores HealthCare board of directors. Dr. Abraham is rising to the challenge to serve his community for many years to come!
